Lenzerheide, Switzerland - 20 to 27 March 2011 SWING (Skiing With International Gays) was a groundbreaking concept when initiated in 1993 by Jürgpeter Huber, member of Gay Sport Zürich, and supported by various European sports clubs. Over the last 12 years, the SWING gay ski week in Lenzerheide has become a gay sports institution, supported by several organizers over the years. SWING offers an easy-going gay ski week with a personal touch. Both beginners and advanced skiers are assured abundant snow in Lenzerheide, where the slopes range from the village at 1500 meters up to the Rothorn peak at 2830 meters above sea level. 40 chairlifts, aerial cable cars and cog railways covering both sun-drenched sides of the alpine valley service 155 kms of prepared ski trails, of which 39 kms can be supplemented by artificial snow. The group stays in the Hotel Schweizerhof. |
